Payments and Services
Why GIRO?
Reduce paper processing and set up securely through UBGROUPSG Personal Internet Banking or eGIRO with a participating billing organisation.
Digital GIRO arrangements reduce paper forms and help save large numbers of printed sheets each year.
Automated checks reduce human error, strengthen authentication and provide immediate setup confirmation.
Get started with eGIRO
Start from the participating billing organisation’s website and choose eGIRO as the payment method.
Select UBGROUPSG as the bank that will provide the account for recurring payment.
Log in to UBGROUPSG Personal Internet Banking when prompted, choose the eligible account and verify the arrangement details.
Authorise the request and keep the confirmation for your records.

Safe GIRO setup
Authorise GIRO only for reputable and verified organisations.
Where available, define a maximum amount for each deduction.
Set an end date when appropriate to prevent unintended long-term deductions.
Configure GIRO payment and standing-order notifications so unexpected deductions can be identified quickly.
Check the billing organisation, debiting account, payment limit, effective date and frequency. Contact UBGROUPSG immediately if you notice an arrangement or deduction you did not authorise.
